Good room. Had a seaside view room. Room was a bit dated but still lovely. Good bathroom. Pillows were too soft for my personal preference. Staff was amazing. Had a good chuckle with a waitress who was there in the evening, and then the morning. Food was delicious. Very tasty. Cocktails and drinks were delicious. Spa was great, very relaxing massage.

The hotel is on renovation, workers and vehicles coming. Staff was friendly and helpful No lift available. Staff offered help but we done by ourselves Staff was holding heavy linen bags via staircase. The beach attached to hotel was amazing The breakfast was delicious Sea view from the room was excellent. Hotel is well located and has great views of the sea and sunsets from the terraced bar area, We had a room on the ground floor car park side which was spacious and had a ery nice wet room , sadly it also had an electric car charging point directly outside our window which seemed to be in frequently use throughout our stay and sometimes late at night which was a little annoying due to the constant noise from this activity , there is also some major construction work going on at present which we wasn’t made aware off at the time of booking and was very aware of the sound of vehicles or machinery moving about especially in the morning, Breakfast was great with a good choice on offer but service was a little chaotic at times Staff were helpful and polite, I would stay again but would probably wait until the building work has been completed .

We recently stayed at the Polurrian hotel for an extended weekend. The hotel has building work going on but our stay was not impacted in any way. Our room had a lovely sea view. It was clean every day. The food is highly recommended both breakfast and evening meal. The vista room is very comfortable with a great view. We used the indoor pool while we were there, it’s small but numbers are strictly limited to four people at anyone time. Löwenna served our dinner. We found all staff to be friendly but lowenna was so nice and gave us time to chat. The hotel is in an ideal location. We visited St Ives by train one day. Mullion cove and Porthlevan the next. The went to the Minack theatre to watch a show. It is an amazing place to visit. I highly recommend this hotel.

So happy we chose Polurrian on the Lizard for exploring the Lizard peninsular (Lizard point, Kynance Cove, Poldhu Cove) Vista restaurant offered stunning views of the coastline. The mussels we ate there were delicious. Such a beautiful place to sit and admire scenery. Breakfast was all excellent - full English, coconut chia, pastries. Staff were all helpful and welcoming! Didn’t want to leave! Spa was fully booked during our stay - only wish I had booked a treatment in advance!

Clean room. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely cafè and restaurant within the vicinity, plus access to the pool and spa. Location is very good with wonderful views of the sea, however, it can be a bit difficult during a very windy day. Overall, would defo recommend and would book again!

The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost opportunity.

Lovely location and bedroom, but unfortunately spoilt by a power cut as we entered for breakfast. There was no cold meats or cheese ,I was offered a bacon sandwich but it was cold. I did feel sorry for the young girl serving ,so we didn't complain.But the main desk staff were very rude when I mentioned not having a breakfast ,she just said take a croissant .

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on. The next morning I reported to reception about being awoken early due to water pipes rumbling to which I was told nobody had mentioned about before. No offer to move. Having ordered Lunch, our one childs meal was left off the order and he was left waiting. For evening Dinner, we were informed the hotel were short staffed and so could not offer the pizzas advertised on their website. This made things difficult for us having had lunch there earlier and our children having to choose from the same menu. Drinks arrived late, so we turned them away when they eventually arrived thinking that we would go elsewhere for dinner. This was on a Sunday, on my Birthday, and we had little choice but to stay as locally not much was open/and only serving roast dinners. We ordered dinner, to find that our puddings were now missed off and so we had to chase. Throughout the staff were friendly, but not very professional or offering a good service. My 2 separate complaints fell on deaf ears it would seem.

We recently stayed at The Polurrion on the Lizard for 2 nights during spring school holidays. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the room was spacious with sea view. We enjoyed the variety of food, our evening time in the hotel lobby and the kids have definitely enjoyed the indoors swimming pool. The location was perfect as the beach was 5 minutes walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cornwall.

What a lovely place! My partner and I arrived on Christmas Day & stayed for 3 nights & we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Wonderful scenic location. Welcoming staff, clean rooms, fun live music, board games provided, delicious food & the massage in the spa was also great. The only thing we regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Maggie greeted us and checked us in. She was amazing! So helpful and informative. Remembered our names the who way through our stay which made us feel so welcome. The hotel was gorgeous! All areas were incredible. Our room was beautiful and the sea view was glorious. Food in the restaurant was great, including breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer! 100% recommend.
