Upon arrival, I was initially concerned by the number of homeless individuals in the surrounding area. However, once inside, the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
Unfortunately, my room was not ready at check-in, and I was offered an alternative room to avoid waiting. I was informed the only difference would be the absence of a bathtub. In reality, the room was not only missing a tub but was also noticeably smaller and lacked the views of the room I had originally reserved. Had I been made aware of the extent of these differences, I would have chosen to wait for my reserved room.
On a positive note, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the walk-in shower was excellent. The rooftop restaurant was another highlight—beautifully designed, serving good food in generous portions.
Overall, while I was disappointed in the room substitution, the quality of the hotel’s amenities would make me consider staying again. Next time, however, I will wait for the exact room type I reserved.
