The gravel road into the cabins was horrible. Big potholes that need to be fixed ASAP. When we arrived the driveway into cabin 3 was so tight I had to back up a few times to get into the drive. When we got to the porch/patio area it was awful. The roof was covered in spiderwebs. The furniture was disgusting, it looked as if it had ash or mold on the cushions. The fireplace had roaches in it. The grill was not cleaned. When we stepped inside there were stains on the wall. The fan up the upstairs area wouldn't work. Even if it had, it was so covered in dust we would have regretted turning it on. The couch had an odd stain on it as well. I tried calling the owners twice. I left a message explaining and asking for a call back. It has been 3 days and I still have not heard from them. We left and got us a hotel in the city. Hotels.com can't even get the owners to respond to them. I will upload the few photos I took. Unfortunately I didn't take any inside.

Property in a pretty, wooded area. Peaceful. The stove could have used a better wipe down and there was dust and cobwebs all over the fan. The inside door handle is broken and the shower caddy fell off in the middle of the night and woke us up. There was a blinking colored porch light on that I couldn't figure out how to turn off and made it hard for me to fall asleep.

Great little getaway spot! Cabin was as pictured. Beds & pillows are comfortable. Didn’t like the fact that the loft area looks over/down into the master bedroom. (Wasn’t a huge concern for us because we didn’t have anyone else with us, but wanted to let other people know). The only “complaints” I have are check out is way earlier than most; 10:00am is a bit unusual & inconvenient… the dirt road leading to the property is extremely rough; tons of potholes. Overall, our stay was near perfect!

I am not one to leave reviews but I thought I would this time. My husband and I have came here 2 years in a row. We were always so pleased with everything. We just went March 2025 amd we were not pleased. The cabin has really gone down in cleanliness. The large arch windows in the bedroom were filthy. The had spider webs everywhere. The place needs painted bad. The worst thing was the road condition. We were in my husbands Denali truck and the potholes still beat us to death. Now I will say that they are working on the main road but not any work done on the whiskey river road. We dreaded leaving to go eat bc the bumps were HORRIBLE !

Well everything seemed ok on paper with this stay until they had a severe weather issue cause their generators to fail in freezing conditions. We were told to leave in the middle of the night and go find other lodging and that we would be refunded later. 10 days later they will not return a phone call, text, or email. They also wont reply to hotels.com. If you want to be lied to and have your money stolen please stay here

The heat went out both nights and it was close to 40° in the cabin. When telling staff they said they knew and hadn’t got anyone to fix it. Tv didn’t work and called they said they would fix it and never did.

This place is horrible!! I think it is fictitious. My code to the door wouldn’t work. I tried to reach the property manager several times. After no response, I left the property. I have asked my credit card company to investigate the property. Hopefully I will get a credit for the charges.

The treehouse cabins were very unique and had the possibility of being great. The river views were wonderful and cabins spaced well apart.However they were extremely dirty from the front porch(deck)/ to the bedroom. Tables were sticky and dirty.sofa was stained. Bedroom was so dusty and dirty that I cleaned before trying to sleep in the room. Air conditioner was a split unit in bedroom and living room.on our last morning we woke up to a room temperature of 60 degrees. We couldn’t get either unit to heat. Called number for Whiskey at 7:30 to report problem. At nine still hadn’t heard from anyone, so sent email asking for some help. When we were still cold at ten, we left although we still had another night. Finally had a call from someone after twelve noon. Said he was sorry for our troubles but couldn’t give us any money back because we had booke through Expedia.i have pictures showing where there were wires hanging under the main part of the house. This place needs to be checked off your list if you are planning to stay there.
