I recently stayed at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi and while the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, my experience was a blend of positives and disappointments.
✨ Highlights:
• The hotel is visually stunning and offers a luxurious atmosphere.
• Housekeeping staff were exceptionally hardworking and kept the rooms spotless.
• Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay.
⚠️ Areas for Improvement:
• The poolside bar service was inconsistent, with staff focusing only on guests in the pool area. Those lounging nearby were often overlooked, and drink service was noticeably slow.
• Although the hotel boasts a private beach, there was no drinks service available there, which felt like a missed opportunity.
• The website advertised welcome cold towels and farewell drinks, but neither were offered during my visit.
• After checkout, the level of service dropped significantly. It felt as though guests were no longer a priority.
• Queue management was poor—staff allowed guests to push ahead without addressing the issue, which created a frustrating experience for those waiting patiently.
• During a reservation booking, I was discussing private details with a staff member when another guest entered and remained in the room. The staff did not ask him to wait outside, compromising my privacy.
