Beautiful modern hotel in a great location overlooking the river. Massive room with huge bed , nice buffet breakfast and easy to park although £14 for 24 hrs which is not bad really. 5 minute walk to the city centre over the footbridge outside the hotel. We didnt use the spa and pool but it was included in the price which was £96 minus the £50 tesco voucher so great value .

Exellent Superior room, spacious and clean room, superking size bed, on the hard side but suited us, lovely foyer and bar area, very friendly and helpful staff. Location suited us with plenty parking ( you have to pay but this is getting normal these days), lovely to walk along the riverbank into Durham, We only used the Restaurant for breakfast ( which was included) nice selection for breakfast which we enjoyed..We would definitely use again if in Durham..

Short break for a birthday. From the moment we arrived we were well looked after. Our room overlooking the river was very nice, somewhere to hang the towels etc in the bathroom would have been a good thing. The spa was good and clean throughout. The food in the evening in Josef's Restaurant was very good and plentiful and there was a good choice for breakfast in the morning too. Overall the staff were very good and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Durham. Looking forward to returning.

Although the room was clean the bathroom bin had not been emptied. Check in was very smooth and easy, Alex was very welcoming and informative, sharing information for the local area as well as hotel. The spa pool area was good and easy to use. The only negative is you have to walk through reception and the bar area to get to it which is a little uncomfortable when wearing your dressing gown. Breakfast was very good. Location very good. I would recommend and I would stay again

This is the first time we stayed at the Radisson Blu and found almost everything spot on; our check in with Katie and the amenities and service all met or exceeded our expectations. The only exception was when I ordered new potatoes, chives, and butter in your restaurant only to be given dry new potatoes. No problem, the next night was your Indian food night, so we went elsewhere for a delicious dinner at Holi's.
