We chose this hotel because it offers the benefits of a small apartment - especially a kitchen. It turned out to be excellent as a hotel in every respect. Plus, it's in a great, not-too-touristy neighborhood with lots of options for dining and shopping. (We ate at four different tapas bars all within a few blocks and we got great take-home pastries for breakfast at the shop on the corner.) Plus, it's very convenient in terms of transportation with lots of buses and a subway stop at the corner.
