A very nice clean, quaint, quiet room. The only thing I would have liked more of is lighting.

Bathroom toilet ran all night, wasn’t an issue if you closed the door. But overall good room. Perfect for those needing a room for a night!

Pet friendly

Very comfortable for a “no frills” motel. Even had coffee and a TV. Warm shower with toilettries and easy in/out. Great if traveling with pets.

4/10 Fair

Check in went smoothly except I was given a receipt that belonged to another guest Room was clean but dated. TV did not work, walls were super thin (noisey) and no hot water for shower. Refrig is plugged in to switch by door so wr accidentally turned off..realized and was able to correct. Food at restaurant good and is was convenient to have so close. I would not select this location as a first choice.

4/10 Fair

Smell of cigarette smoke filled the room via the bath vent Room was uncomfortably hot TV didn’t work, which meant the noise from the other guests was inescapable No staff was available at 9:45 pm to answer phone or office door to resolve these issues I slept in my van on the roadside, and was more comfortable. Onsite restaurant was good. Staff was excellent when available

6/10 Good

Haines Junction overnight

Room was clean and everything worked. However room needs updating , more electrical outlets, better lighting, and the carpet needs replaced. It was a good place to stop for the night, however when i drove up I became concerned as the exterior look is dreadful. The parking lot is gravel with lots of pot holes. The people who operate the “hotel”;also operate the restaurant next door. They were very nice and hard working.

Very Utilitarian

Let me start by saying that if you are looking for place to lay your head for one night after a long day of driving, this place works. Rooms are in serious need of updating ... they are extremely dark and dreary. I am grateful that they allow cats as it is hard to find properties that do. However, the screen was falling out of the window I was in so I was unable to keep the window open for fear the cats could escape. It got very hot and stuffy in the room as I couldn't keep the window open. There was no fan provided. While there were air fresheners in the room, there was still an odor of stale smoke. It is possible that no one actually smoked in the room as outside of every room is a very old plastic chair and a coffee can where cigarette butts can be placed. It is possible that someone before me was sitting in the chair, smoking outside the room, and the odor seeped in through the open window. The check-in and check-out was very quick and staff were friendly. While there was nothing luxurious about the motel, it did serve its purpose as a place to lay my head and alit allowed my cats to stay (for a fee.) If you have pets, this motel may work for you. If you do not have pets, you may want to consider other options.

Good Value considering...

Good value for what you're getting. It's a typical 70's style motel in a remote town. The beds are clean and firm, the water is hot and plentiful. The amenities are what you'd expect. Wifi is very fast considering where you are. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Can't go too wrong for the price. I would return. The restaurant is not terrible.

There aren’t many options in the area, especially those that will take cats. But the hotel was surrounded by slushy snow as the walkway was in progress and the room was filled with smoke.

Room was dark. There was 2 small table lamps. We had a sofa hide-a-bed that wouldn’t open. Really big stains on cushions of sofa hide-a-bed. Didn’t sit on it! They need to put a sign as to where the office is! It is in the restaurant next door but no signage. The restaurant is not open 24/7. They didn’t give us any information. We found this out by trying to check out and the restaurant was closed. We left the key in the room.

We had a very good two nights stay here. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff here were welcoming, and were wonderful to hang out with on a down day on our travels. Reception staff on our check in were accommodating to our needs. Great accommodations for our needs and expectations!

It’s the cheapest place in the area and it’s run well and the staff is nice but it’s a cheap motel. If this place is all you can afford so highly recommend it.

2/10 Poor

While I love to support local hotels in these small remote towns, I am sad to say I would not recommend this place, or at least room #11 to anyone. The smell of stale smoke was unbearable, the bed was lopsided. On the up side the food at the Chinese restaurant, which is the checkin desk, was good.
