It is not a 4 Diamonds hotel. It is big and too crowded for the size of pools. They didn't say that kids area is for 5 years and above and we choose it for the kids area for my 4 years old daughter (5 years in 1 month, and they even let her use it, but they allowed a 5 year old kid bit he was shortest than my daughter) Check on way too slow and a disaster. Bell boys "organized" the lines but they send people behind to the front. And when it is your turn at the counter the bell boys assigned you the people at front desk leaves and you wait for someone to help you or change you to another line. I reported twice the coffeemaker that didn't work and the sink that was stucked, and nobody went to even check. Booking for restaurants is a mess. There are no bookings but at the end they book you a time when there are always empty tables inside. Prices for transportation way too high with the hotel, better arrange transportation before you are in the hotel. I would come back again but to a Riviera Maya hotel not this one

6/10 Good

There’s good and not good here. - Once inside the property there is no local taxi transportation allowed. You have to use the holes transport service $80 to get to Cancun. - Make sure you bring all the cash you’ll need. The hotels ATM, located in the lobby, charges $69 to pull a minimum of $200. - What do you really get with their Diamond booking? The only real benefit is the ability to book a reservation for one of their restaurants. The Diamond pool area is very limited, small and too many people in that specific area. You’re much better off in the main pools. Don’t do Diamond it’s not what you think. - The hotel caters to the locals for one day passes. If you want quiet time do not come to this hotel. - We made the mistake off booking during Mexican Independence Day. A hugh mistake as the locals come in and their culture takes over, very loud and getting to a resting during that time is dreadful and incredibly loud. If you like Mexican music and rude locals this is the place for you. The resort has no concept of culture balance. Smoking in the pool, boom boxes in the pool area everywhere. - The room was very clean and well taken care of. The employees were wonderful and helpful. - A great place for your kids. - Concerning Diamond; I had several discussions with people who wanted to upgrade to Diamond. I learned that they told people different prices to upgrade to Diamond. Seems like they would charge what ever the market would bare at the monument……so beware.

8/10 Very Good
