This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed at this location. The cabin was clean and comfortable, it was easy to check in and check out. The area can be explored and you are able to find hidden surprises on the property and encouraged to explore the area. It was a center point of all attractions we enjoy experiencing in the area not to mention close to restaurants and shopping. You will not regret booking a stay here. The only downfall is some of the cabins experience spotty wifi but that didn't bother us because we came here to unplug from our everyday life and plug into the wilderness. if you have ATVS or snowmobiles, they have parking in the back of the property for those as well. The cabins close to the road you will hear a lot of traffic go by all day and all night.

Perfect spot for our mini vacation, loved the size and the amenities of the property. Very cute and close to town. Wish there was one more chair, only 3 chairs inside and outside for a space that fit 4 comfortably. Thank you for the great communication.

There was a standard cleaning fee not included in the booking price on Hotels, but even so it was an adorable little cabin, and I enjoyed my stay. It was easy to get in and out of, and very close to Pictured Rocks. The service in the area is spotty, which for me was nice and let me unplug a bit, but if that’s not your thing the cabin had wifi and a TV. The cabins are close together if that’s not your thing, but I never heard a peep from anyone else staying there, and the blinds installed allow for complete privacy.

Just a really cool place. Parking was just fine for our vehicle. I would know that if you had a larger vehicle or a pull behind trailer parking would not be easy. Perfectly decorated; love the fire pit. saw a lovely sunset from the little landing in front of our room

The cabin was nicer in person. It was clean and decorated nicely. Lots of counter space. Loved the windows that allowed you to see the stars when in bed. Great location. Loved the firewood and fire pit/stove was with every cabin. Loved the extra hike and surprises opportunities were available, wish we had planned that in!

Room was clean, except they need to clean the vent in the bathroom, and you can see the label marks on the upper windows as if they had never been cleaned in the 3 years the place has been open. The kitchen area has a ridiculous amount of cupboard space considering there is only a microwave and small refrigerator. The space just doesn’t seem very well planned out. It is a unique idea to have trails, although it wasn’t clear where they lead to. It’s very close to town, but be forewarned that there are not a lot of restaurants in town. Nice to have the laundry. Staff was very helpful when we needed a second glass, but then why should we need to ask for a second glass…

The house manual was super useful for both the cabin and the surrounding area. The firepit and washer/dryer were useful and def enhanced the comfort of our stay. Would stay again!

Individual buildings are unique, clean and close to town. They are too close to road and too close to other buildings. Road noise, smoke from others as each spot has it's wood burning fire pit. You get burning smoke smell on clothes without enjoying a fire. Also, I received an excessive amount of emails and texts from owner during my stay, bordered on being intrusive. I won't book here again.

I will say this was the best stay even though it was short. I went to Munising to see my sister who has stayed in the past at Explore The bungalow was perfect ! Very pretty and comforting . They have a couple trails onsite that I fully recommend ! The staff was so nice and immediately available when needed. Even the wonderful ladies that cleaned the places were so fun to talk to as well. I will be back ! This is perfect for a solo traveler and close to all the fun things Munising has to offer !

Private very quaint loved everything about the place. Lots to do in Munising. Only thing that was uncomfortable was the parking it was a little scary on side of hill. Highly recommended

The place was nice, the check in was easy. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was a weird smell upon entering the cabin and also one of the complimentary bottles of soap seemed opened and re used. Lastly there was like 3 flies just chillin inside on the large living area window. Other than that I do appreciate the cabins, they're cute and cozy I do wish they let people smoke out on the porch chairs provided. The rooms where clean so ill give them that for sure.

The place was clean and had *almost* everything we needed. I thought the fridge would have a small freezer for our ice packs. We wanted to be able to pack a cooler bag for the day but had no way to keep our ice packs frozen. I also would have liked some basic instructions for the washer/dryer unit. We would definitely stay here again but we would choose a unit not so close to the hwy.
