Our experiemce in hotel de las nubes was terrible. No working WiFi at our arrival on 6/14 (which means no way to communicate is you are not local), no hotel alternatives in San Antonio de Los cobres and closest town to stay is 100 miles away with beautiful landscapes but not so good roads (no real alternative other than accepting the shamefully overpriced hotel de las nubes). We arrived at 4PM, the hotel restaurant personal was checking people into the hotel. He couldn’t help us when we saw that the apartment didn’t match the description in Expedia (we rented an apartment with two king size beds, but were offered a king and two twin instead). We couldn’t take a bath, no tub or real shower available (the bathroom would get flooded if we tried). The small fridge was very loud and we had to disconnect it. The personnel couldn’t get in touch with management so the issues couldn’t be addressed accordingly. On the other side, the heater was working, we were at happy to be warm. Not worth the 91USD or more than 2,500 pesos we paid. It is a shame because we loved every place we visited in jujuy and salta, but can’t recommend hotel de las nubes.
