Everything at the Principe Hotel in Modena was nice, clean and the personnel service was exceptional. They were always very serviceable and willing to answer questions, make suggestions, and help us at any moment. About the room, it was way spacious and well equipped with all amenities for travelers. Whoever designed the rooms and preparation deserves good recognition.

Small room in a clean hotel

This is a relatively small and friendly hotel, close to the station and also the historic centre. The staff are helpful, and the room is clean. My only quibble is the size of the room - it’s very tight and the bed is close to the desk. The external shutters were nearly closed and I couldn’t open them, which makes the room dark. It has a lot of merits, and is a good base to see Modena

Location for hotel -- a short walk from train station and a short walk to the main touristic part of the city -- was a plus. Facility was well-appointed but no frills (reminded me of a Club Quarters hotel) -- definitely catering to business travelers.
