First let me say the views were excellent! The staff was kind and friendly but…there’s only so much they can do with a hotel that is in terrible shape. After reading recent poor reviews I requested in advance that my room, bedding and towels be in good condition and they were although the bedspread was in need of replacing. The way the shower and toilet area was constructed was awful! First of all it was not separate from the sleeping area. Most importantly, when one showered the water from the shower seeped into the toilet area and stayed in the corners and created a very wet environment. There was no comfortable chair in the room, the seating on the balcony was very worn. I could go on and on but basically the hotel is a construction nightmare and it has not been repaired/maintained. We left one night early as the room was not an enjoyable place to be.
