Overall, had a good stay at the Olive Hotel.
The room was clean and spacious. The location is right next to Republic Square, so in the heart of Yerevan and access to all the main sights. The staff at the hotel were friendly enough.
Only issues I had were to do with noise. What people say about the dogs is true, there seems to be a pack of them nearby that love to bark together during the night at random intervals. As much as I love doggos, it is annoying. It is not something the hotel can do anything about, but it is worth flagging. The other issue was to do with inconsiderate neighbours. Some of the rooms have shared balconies with neighbouring rooms. Unfortunately, the group of girls staying in room 402 on Friday 25th April are inconsiderate 🍑holes who like to make lots of noise and move between rooms throughout the hotel at 2am. Again, not necessarily the hotels fault, but then accepting drunken guests comes with these risks, and will impact other guests experiences.
Overall, I would recommend staying here!
