Overall very pleasant stay at the hotel, but food quality at the breakfast buffet needs to improved. Staff needs better training. Teabags at breakfast buffet are not available unless you asked, they are stored inside the cabinet where only staff can reach. Food quality is not good for 5 stars hotel and at that price.

Short taxi ride to the Shantou High Speed Rail Station. Though the hotel is a little out of the way for the city centre, little to nothing in the way of shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. More than a little surprised that I had to pay a 3000 RMB deposit upon arrival, seeing as I had already paid the full price of my 3 night stay in advance. Had a full reimbursement to my bank account later in the day when I checked out. Just a "strange" set up, guess they worried I might disappear with the bed or the TV. Concierge and doorman very helpful with advice and guidance on local travel, sights etc.

比起上一次我們入住時，酒店硬件明顯折舊了不少，房間內的地氈污跡比比皆是，當然地氈可以更換，其他硬件上的仍然是不錯，最後入住期間因為有大風大雨，其中一扇窗酒店打開過沒有關緊，漏風之餘還滲水。 是次入住，最難受的是安排了一間住客抽過煙的房間，我們入門時，門窗都是打開的，還有一部空氣清新機在運作，太難受，要求酒店換房後，雖然安排較高樓層，但這間房間亦有煙味，後來我們自行了解來源，是旁邊的相連房間，一直在抽煙，煙霧透過門縫，滲入我們的客廳，難受不已，但不想再浪費時間再更換房間，就要求了空氣清新機作罷。 整體而言軟件上職員的態度等等，也是值得推薦，當然我們亦有期望在五星酒店的層次上，在我們投訴第二次時，他們會主動為我們更換房間，而不是只安排一部空氣清新機。
