The room and bathroom were very dated. The bedroom door would not close. We had to lock the door with the key when in the room. The staff were excellent. They were so friendly. Breakfast was nice. We stayed in this lovely hotel the night before our trip on the Bernina express. The hotel is in the old town of chur which is really nice with lots of historic buildings, it was about 15 mins walk to the station so perfectly placed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was from 7 the next morning but we went in just before and there were already people in there. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast which had plenty of choice to suit everyone. The room was warm and the bed comfortable our bathroom was huge and the shower was very good. This hotel is a small hotel and has lots of character I would definitely recommend it for couples.
