The building has security 24/7 at the lobby, so we always felt very safe. Theres a little 7-Eleven in the lobby but a lot of people, including us, would grab food often. The pool is beautiful, but its small and does feel crowded around 4pm when all the people and their kids come out for an afternoon swim. The best time to swim without any people is 11am-3pm.
As for our room, the hist was great with communicating with us and would check in and schedule times for a house cleaner to come and clean the room and stock up on anything we needed, like towels and toilet paper. The projector is a nice and we were able to cast our iPad to it to watch movies in the evening. The room is a decent size and cozy, but the couch isnt super comfortable to relax in.
The only downside is that there are cockroaches in this building and in this room. If you plan to stay here anyways, keep the bathroom doors closed at all times since thats where they were coming from. We weren't messy and we never left food sitting out. We saw a few tiny ones in the early days of our stay and would kill them and not think anything of it...but then 1 turned into 2, then 4 and next thing we were finding them in the living room too. The host told us that there is a sewage drain filter in the house cleaner put on that might need to be fixed and addressed it next day. It was okay after but we still did find them where we kept our luggage, which made us paranoid.
