Unfortunately, my stay ended on a disappointing note due to an error by the hotel. During my stay, I received a message telling me that my room was needed for another guest and that I would have to check out my room, even though my reservation was still valid. This caused a great deal of unnecessary stress and took several hours to resolve while I was trying to enjoy the final day of my holiday.
Although the issue was eventually resolved and I was able to remain for the rest of my stay, I received no apology from the hotel at the time of the incident. The communication could have been handled much better, and the experience left me feeling very disappointed.
The resort itself is in a pleasant location and the accommodation was comfortable, but the way this situation was managed fell well below the standard I would expect. I hope the hotel improves its booking procedures and communication so that other guests do not experience the same issue.
