Overall, this rental served our needs. We were a bit surprised by the description that it is a one bedroom unit, but there was no privacy for that bedroom as only a curtain separated it from the hallway to the bathroom. The kitchen had recently been updated, and was in great shape, and there were plenty of kitchen amenities which were much appreciated.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t until a couple days before our arrival that we learned that maintenance occurring on the outside of the building would impact how we got to experience the property. They were sandblasting the outside of the building, preparing it for painting, which meant we never got to use our lanai during the day and had to move furniture from the lanai each morning into the apartment, making the apartment very cramped and crowded for us. No concessions were offered for the inconvenience. When you rent a property with an ocean view, you typically hope to be able to enjoy that view. We were unable to.
Communication was great and the views were wonderful. However, the inconveniences that we experienced more very unfortunate.
