Location is central, service’is very good but they don’t provide parking on location you have to walk across the street go up stairs and then elevator to Parking very inconvenient. The bed is too firm and there’s a lot of noise on the weekends.

I have been an instrumentation control engineer for 40 years, working 20 years in Mexico in complex and global companies and 20 years in the United States, including NASA after almost 20 years I returned to the country where I was born and I can gladly say that this hotel for the price is accessible to many and very comfortable, clean, perhaps not quiet because it is In an area that can be called Zona Rosa like in Mexico City, there is a lot to do in that area and I am happy to say and proud that I could return many more times.

The hotel was great and will definitely be returning but I do discourage anyone from getting a tour with them as they contract a third party and there is a bit of miscommunication on what you will be getting or doing. Aside from that I did stay at other hotels and this one was the best service and best price.

The stay was great speaking about the service, room, and information. I strongly disagree with the sound from the bar in front of the hotel, they must have control of the decibels and hours, definitely was uncomfortable we couldn´t sleep because of it.

The biggest problem I had was I arrived Thursday and left Sunday morning. The hotel provided a room that’s on the back side of the building and shares space with a club that played loud music all night way into the early morning hours. I didn’t sleep as the music kept me up. I calculate on average I slept 3 hours as I had to get ready early morning to attend the classes I was in the city for. The other big inconvenience was that the room was supposed to be smoke free; there was cigarette smoke filtrating into my room, heavy smoke. I’m not a smoker and I cringe at the smell of cigarette smoke. I couldn’t sleep, I was stuck smelling and breathing cigarette smoke.

My husband and I have come into Guadalajara several times a year for many years. This year we discovered a small hotel Hotel Ola Chapultepec. The first three times were amazing. Then came this visit. The Reception was great as usual. They have some of the best trained staff at the front desk that I have ever seen. But during our two day stay we had security problems- unknown people trying to enter our room around midnight, loud guests below us and next to us , traffic noise despite being on the 7 th floor, and the lighting in the hallways flickered or were not on leaving the hallways in complete darkness . Reception responded quickly to our concerns- but I’m left with the feeling that something changed radically in the last few months since we were at the hotel. Even the parking situation was unsettling- when we entered the parking area there were a small group of young men seemingly not employed by the hotel and with no obvious vehicle in the parking lot. But even with these problems I might come back because of the great bilingual and highly trained professional reception staff. They are the superstars of the hotel! Management is lucky to have these remarkable employees.
