We stayed at the hotel for five days. After our first night, we had to change rooms due to a leak from the air conditioning unit, which left the carpet soaking wet. On the third day, the staff didn’t recognize us and had to double-check whether our breakfast was included before allowing us into the restaurant. On the fourth day, housekeeping came at 3 PM—an hour after they themselves had said the service would end. By then, we had already taken care of getting new towels and toilet paper ourselves.
We also sent a couple of items to be dry-cleaned, but when we tried to collect them, the staff refused to return them unless we paid immediately. This meant we couldn’t settle all charges upon check-out. On top of that, the payment system was down, so we had to postpone collecting our clothes until the next day.
The air conditioning could neither be adjusted nor turned off, so the room was uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. The bathroom was also poorly designed: water from the shower would flood the entire floor, making it wet and chilly. It didn’t take long for the drain to become clogged as well.
Although the hotel advertises room service, it was unavailable unless we specifically requested the menu. The elevator was unreliable and even came to an abrupt halt on one occasion, requiring us to manually restart it.
