This is a tricky one to evaluate. The location is good, it is a nice district full of restaurants and bars. And of course close to the train station which is a plus. The owners run the hotel and the restaurant which is in the same building. The hotel is clean, but extremely run down. Like you can see that no investment has been made in a good 30 years. It was probably not too bad in it´s prime, but when you see a bathtub that is clean but so run down that it has these traces of thousands of people using it then you just don´t want to be taking a bath there. The room amenities can be described as sparcely, at best. Like the bed was so short I could not even stretch out, and I am an average size woman with a normal body mass index. It had a distinct youth hostel vibe, reinforced by the fact that the 3 rooms next to mine were occupied by young people that had decided that this was a party floor and they will eat, drink, smoke and party until 1 am on the corridor. I would have informed reception if there was a phone in the room. All of this for a whooping 180 € per night is, might I say, shocking. I recommend you put your money elsewhere.
