Enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Cabana. Location was a bit out of the center of town which we personally like. Room was large and views were unbeatable! Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is simple and they have a fridge downstairs for drinks and late night snacks. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this hotel.

Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful view of valley and of Eiger north face from our room. Small hotel with just 20 rooms. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We got a large room on the back of the building that my wife and I shared with our 21 yr old daughter. There are also rooms on the side of the building.

駅呚蟺の倧きなホテルは団䜓旅行が利甚するので、それを避けるためにここを遞びたした。 結果的には個人旅行の日本人宿泊者が倚かったですが。 郚屋数は宀皋床でしょうか。 倧きなホテルに比べお家庭的な雰囲気で、フロント・調理担圓・掃陀担圓の方が皆芪切な察応でした。 眺望は、家々が点圚する谷を挟んでアむガヌがよく芋枡せ、リゟヌト気分が高揚したす。 郚屋には湯沞かしポットや冷蔵庫があり、トレッキングに持参する熱い玅茶を䜜ったり、スヌパヌで買った飲み物やビヌルを冷やすのに重宝したした。 共甚で電子レンゞもあるので、レンゞ調理食をスヌパヌで買っおきお郚屋で食べるこずもできたす。 グリンデルワルト駅やCOOPから埒歩分匷ですが、坂道を䞋りたす。したがっお、駅に向かっおは䞊り坂です。雚が降っおいたりするず、ちょっず䞍䟿ですね。 通内は枅朔ですが、バスルヌムに換気蚭備がなく、少し叀さを感じたした。

特に山奜きの人には玠晎らしい光景です

スむスのホテルなので郚屋が狭いず思っおたしたが、予想以䞊の十分な広さで快適でした。レビュヌにあるように、たさにアむガヌの山などが目の前で、しかも山麓にスむス特有の矎しい蟲家が点圚する光景が広がり、この䞊ない玠晎らしい眺めでした。私が蚪れたずきは倩気があたりよくなかったですが、倩気のいい日はテラスで山々の景色を眺めおいるだけでも、グリンデルワルトに来た䟡倀が十分にあるくらいです。たた、ホテルの呚蟺を歩いおも、ピクニック気分を味わえるほどです。ただホテルず駅間の送迎料金が高いのが残念でした。歩いおもたったく問題ない距離ですが、垰りは雚だったのでホテルの車で駅たで送っおもらいたした。事前にメヌルで問合せたずころ送迎代が14スむスフランず高かったので申し蟌たなかったのですが、たさか垰りの片道だけでも14スむスフランもかかるずは思わなかったです。これだったらタクシヌの方が安いくらいです。ファミリヌ経営のホテルず蚀うのはフレンドリヌでいい面もありたすが、こうしたマむナス面があるのは仕方のないこずかも知れたせんが。

駅からの坂が気にならなければおススメしたす。

グリンデルワルドの駅から埒歩分皋床らしいが、坂がずにかく厳しい。 早朝出発の時間ギリギリには、息切れ詰たるほど、登り坂、歩くのが苊しかった グリンデルワルトバスのフリヌパスをホテルより無料で枡されたす。 グリンデルワルトバスの運行がありたすが、バス停ずバス停の䞭間地点にホテルはありたす。 しかも、運行時間は、䞀時間に本限り。時間的ロスを考えるず駅たで埒歩で行った方が早いです。 芳光局やレストランなどが連なる偎からは、真反察偎です。呚りには、買い物や食事のできる堎所は䞀切ありたせん。倖食するには、ホテルからは坂を登り駅前を通過しお食事をしに行くか、駅近くで食事を枈たせるか、COOPで䜕か買っおホテルで飲食するか・・。 でのサンドむッチなども、日本の物䟡ず比べれるずお倀段いいので満腹にはなりたせん。 倕食ずしお考えれば繁華街偎のレストランで枈たせおホテルぞ戻る事をお勧めしたす。 ずにかくCABANAホテルの呚りには䜕もありたせん。 スヌツケヌスを持参せずに、ラむれベックかフラむレむルを利甚しお身軜にホテルぞ入る事をお薊めしたす。客宀には、ミニバヌや、ポット、コヌヒヌ、玅茶などのむンスタントがありたした。 シャワヌも可動匏で、氎圧も問題なく、深めのお颚呂に入れたす。 ただ、スリッパが完備されおいないので持参した方が良いず思いたす。 スタッフの方々は、皆さん芪切です。 朝食は、他の地域より遅い朝食時間。朝から始たりたす。 チヌズの皮類が豊富、クロワッサンなどのパンや小型ドヌナツやマフィン、ペヌグルトなども矎味しかったです。 お郚屋からの眺めは良いので、気候が良ければ倖のバルコニヌで朝食を郚屋たで移動しお食べる事も可胜です。

Great little hotel

Stayed for 4 nights, room faced out to Eiger so good view. Room was spotless, a good size and well equipped. Good choice for breakfast including local cheeses. Staff were friendly and helpful. Downhill walk from the station of about 5-10 minutes, the owners will collect you and drive you back if you're there for 3 nights or more. For Switzerland this was very good value for the price.

Fantastic experience - Cosy and Comforatable with 1st class friendly service.

From the time we arrived we were made feel at home. The owner/operators were exceptionally friendly and offered plenty of helpful information and as we left early in the morning before breakfast, they offered us a pre-packaged brekky travel pack that we very much appreciated and had pre-arranged a taxi for our transfer to the train station (even though it is easy walking distance). Everything about this place is 5 star other than the building itself which is very clean and accommodating but is not modern and new preventing it from having a higher rating. Don't hesitate with this place. The owners speak great english as well. Breakfast is an added bonus and is very good.

Nice hotel at the foot of Eiger

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cabana. Last minute trip to Grindlewald and I found the hotel on Expedia---all the good reviews were warranted. Clean, comfortable room. Hosts were exceedingly friendly and helpful. View was beautiful, even from my side room; I'm sure the mountain facing rooms are exquisite. Would be my first choice to stay in again if I'm ever again in Grindlewald.

Excellent family run hotel. Very customer oriented. Speak excellent English.
