This was probably the best hotel I could have chosen for my stay in Munich. I wanted to be close to the city center and Marienplatz, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better location. The hotel is just around the corner from Marienplatz and its famous clock tower—less than a five-minute walk. Right in front of the hotel is the renowned Viktualienmarkt food market, which made the experience even more special.
The hotel is reasonably priced and actually looks even better in person. It offers a luxury feel with respectful, attentive staff, and my room was spotless. The entire property is impressively clean, especially considering its prime location next to the busy Viktualienmarkt.
The staff were excellent, particularly the check-in staff in the lobby. One staff member even remembered my name after a full week had passed without seeing me again, which really stood out. I also appreciated the complimentary in-room amenities: two bottles of Coke, two small sparkling waters, three fruit-flavored wine coolers, one large bottle of still water, and a daily supply of chocolates—all replenished every day. Housekeeping was consistently punctual and thorough.
Thank you, Louis Hotel, for being such a pleasant part of my stay in Munich. If I ever return to Munich, this will absolutely be my go-to hotel.
