During our stay, we noticed that certain guests had one of the manager Jacqueline’s personal number and could call her directly to claim sunbeds. On more than one occasion, she allowed them to take spots that were others. This kind of favoritism is disappointing and a clear misuse of a management position. It does not reflect the standards one expects from a five-star hotel.
The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. We returned several times to find visible stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases. It was clear that the linens had not been properly changed, which is not acceptable under any circumstances – especially not in a hotel with a 5-star rating.
Drink service via QR code at the sunbeds was unreliable. Out of about ten attempts, our orders were fulfilled maybe twice – and always with long delays. Staff showed no ownership of the issue.
The food lacked variety throughout the week. The menu mentioned afternoon grill service, and while there was a clear smell of grilling, no grilled food was ever made available – It was misleading.
On top of that, multiple guests were vomiting in the pool area from overdrinking, with no reaction from the staff. Hygiene and basic safety standards were simply not enforced.
This hotel fails to meet basic expectations, and it certainly does not meet 5-star standards. I do not recommend staying here.
