The breakfast provided was perfect, completely sufficient for my needs & it was great to be able to have a low sugar variant of Weet-Bix Bites plus the wholemeal sliced toast bread with NZ butter and a selection of spreads. The reception staff were helpful.

Great experience, super helpful staff and check in after hours was a breeze as instructions were very clear. The hotel and restaurant staff were honestly amazing. The hotel has a stop right outside for the local bus which is easy to get on and get off. Right on the water and always a nice walk to the beach. The pool is also well maintained. I was lucky enough to get late check out which was amazing seeing that my flight was in the evening (obviously subject to availability). Breakfast amenities are really good and honestly for my week long stay I couldn’t even finish all the food and the best was when I woke up the 1st morning and found some banana’s delivered to my door to enjoy. I honestly can’t fault anything with my stay at Castaway, I would 100% go back

What a stunning view from my balcony overlooking the ocean. The food is amazing had the seafood platter! what truly remarkable are the staff! Arlyn, Firaz and Edwin made my stay memorable.

We had a lovely stay at Castaway Resort, comfy bed and the in room breakfast of cereal and toast was perfect for us. Venue is a bit dated but cute. We liked the small number of guests and the adult only aspect. Beautiful sunsets on the beach and the restaurant and bar was great too. Would happily stay again

Restaurant on site was great as was the bar…pool area was smaller than expected. Our room (15) backed on to the kitchen extractor fan so was a bit noisy when the fan was going when they were cooking. Loved the continental breakfast included where we could cook our own toast or have cereal. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at Castaway. Our room opened straight into the restaurant and bar area, where we could sit on our deck and enjoy the music and vibe from other guests. It's a fantastic location if you want to dine out or have a drink and watch the sunset. We also walked along the beach to other eating places, which were amazing and very convenient. You can swim straight off the beach, but it's not as easy to snorkel right outside the resort, although you only have to walk a short distance down the beach to good snorkelling spots.

Quaint little resort, sea views were lovely, bar and restaurant right on the beach. Gorgeous quiet beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice palm trees and gardens. Sheltered pool area pleasant. Need a car to get into town or you could bike. Grocery store not too far away and a nice cafe just down the road. No in room wifi but available by hotspot at a cost. TV not working but being upgraded at the time of our stay. An older resort and some things probably due an upgrade soon. Overall a good stay

Lovely helpful staff, very clean, quiet, good location, great access to the water, bar, free cultural show, breakfast supplied and refilled when needed. Has what you need. Office hours are a bit shorter, not a fancy big resort but thats part of what makes it lovely and relaxing. Bus stop out the front. Adults only resort.
