The room was booked for one night they stated virtual check-in and assistance, with an access code to be provided for a contactless experience. But despite our repeated attempts to reach out for their failure, we were left stranded with no way to enter the property. We waited in desperation, trying to contact the property and Expedia agents, hoping for some kind of resolution. As the night grew darker, we had no choice but to sleep in our car, abandoned and helpless. A refund was requested through Expedia the next morning, then magically the property eventually responded later that evening, hours after check-out time with our access code and room number which made no sense at all. And now, to add insult to injury, refuses to refund due to a supposed communication issue. This is not just a mistake or a miscommunication - this is theft.
