My Family and I really enjoyed our sat at the Hyatt House hotel in Royal Oak. The staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We had an issue with our toilet immediately after checking in and going our room and the staff resolved it immediately. The front desk staff were Amazing friendly, very informative and nice. I would like to compliment the young man that prepares the breakfast he was Amazing, complimentary. And we enjoyed the breakfast and family atmosphere in the lobby. The room was not only clean, everything was new since the Hyatt at Woodward Corners just opened. Beautiful finishes in the room, including the kitchen area. Wonderful walk-in shower. Great selection of hot and cold foods at the complementary breakfast. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced - good location.

This room was perfect for traveling with an infant. The staf were super nice. The only negative is that there was a dish in the sink when we got there. The heating system was not functioning properly and our room was really hot even though we set the thermostat to 67. But I would stay again just because of the unique set up.

Our stay at Hyatt House was pleasant, and all members of the staff we interacted with were friendly, polite, and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. There were just a couple of things that we found annoying: 1) the bathroom door swings into the bathroom and blocks the toilet area completely so you must walk completely into the bathroom in order to close the door; 2) the smoke or carbon monoxide sensor is located on the wall right above the bed and flashes every 10 seconds (similar to a strobe light) throughout the entire night. This caused a very disruptive sleep.
