Our host was very helpful to get us acclimated to the area from USA. He really extended himself to assist us with directions to his property. Loved finding our room comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was healthy, lots of options from muesli to baked goods to delicious coffee. So enjoyed the remote setting surrounded by mountains, lush green fields and dense forests.

The property itself was perfect and exactly what I wanted, quiet and so easy to reach many of the activities that I wanted to enjoy while there. We arrived late, but the owner sent instructions for accessing the room key by email. Breakfast is provided at this hotel, there is no surcharge. It is in a lovely, quiet area in the Tirol mountains, with beautiful scenery, a friendly host and beautiful hotel. We will definitely stay here again. It may seem a long drive, but it is well worth it.

Absolutely beautiful and quiet setting, nestled between the mountains, and close to Mittenwald. Host is very welcoming. It is a small independent hotel, so don't expect all the amenities of a major chain. The small deluxe room is quite small, but you shouldn't be in this part of the world to spend much time in your room. Breakfast is light and cold items, but delicious. Room was clean, water pressure in the shower was great, and plenty of hot water. There's no A/C, which is common. Be prepared to hear a little traffic early in the morning if your window is open. It's just the world calling to you to get out of bed and enjoy the nature of the area! Wish we could have spent a week here instead of one night! Danke Bart!
