Our stay was awful, leaving us hot, uncomfortable, and deeply disappointed, all while feeling disrespected and ignored by hotel staff and in particular, hotel management. The AC was not working on a sweltering day in Paris and after a tiring day out, we returned to a stiflingly hot room. Despite numerous attempts to get things fixed we learned that an entire bank of suites had no AC. They had no other suitable room for us to move into. And, rather than get an actual maintenance person, the hotel finally sent a staff person up to our suite with a fan- unassembled and in a box. So, rather than arriving with a functioning fan, the guy proceeded to unbox and assemble the unit in our room. It was absurd, the idea that this would be okay, especially given the amount of time he spent trying to put it together. He felt like our new roommate! Moreover, after he left, we realized that he got the assembly wrong and had put the blade in backwards. So my husband had to take it apart himself and put the blade in correctly- all this while paying over $530 CDN/night for our suite. You would think they might offer a free breakfast, a discount on our room, a couple of cold beers. But no, We were assured multiple times that it would be addressed by the manager and he would contact us on the following Monday. We have heard nothing. This hotel may aspire to be a high quality, 4-star establishment, but it has a long way to go before it actually is, if ever. I do not recommend staying here.
