A bit confusing for check in. We arrived to a sticky table & counter & cabinets. The ice make was malfunctioning so it was fulllll of ice. The bathroom was ok, the penny behind the door is a good indicator that it wasn’t fully cleaned. One rag/washcloth for 2 people, 2 towels. No hairdryer and only hand soap. The dishwasher had been run but did not wash the very few dishes that were in there. We reached out to the host. Someone came by hours later with a few towels and wash cloths. There was no dish towel, it didn’t matter, so few dishes & no cooking amenities. Lighting is sparse, however the streetlights fill the place all night. We had to use a flashlight to do laundry. The washer & dryer were good, but light would have been helpful. The sofa was very uncomfortable & stained so did not use. The bed was very firm, no extra blankets.
The host was quickly responding on text but other than the towels and some dishwasher tabs not excepting that the place was quite dirty on arrival, the shower and toilet were satisfactory.
There are quiet hours but that does not apply to the restaurant below which hosted what sounded like a rocking party. Our room was directly above, we could actually hear conversations over the bass of a DJ’s sound system as it all traveled through the air ducts. Fortunately that ended at 11:40 and it was only on the Sat night. Not something the host can control, but good to know before you go.
Sad, this place has a ton of potential.
