It was a clean room the heat and air needs to be fixed they just put new ones in but the heat does not stay on I am a very cold person all the time so heat is a must or I freeze

Overnight stay 8/1/25 while traveling through Illinois. I found very satisfactory. I would recommend it for a clean, quiet, affordable place to stay.

My king room, while older, was clean and odor-free. I prefer to stay in "Mom and Pop" motels rather than chains, and it worked out well for a one night work-related stay. The microwave and refrigerator were present and working, and the heat/ac unit did just fine. I have stayed here before and plan on doing so again if needed for my job.

We actually did not stay. After looking at this room and property, we did not stay and even though there was no refund, we move to the other hotel in Centralia. At least we didn’t have to worry that our car would get stolen in the night. It appeared to be clean and did have AC, but was a run down with a lot of long term low rent residents loitering around outside.

Do not stay here!!

This place is awful. First of all the lobby is not air conditioned and it was about a hundred degrees in there. The room stunk, the bedding was not washed and there were burn holes in the mattress pad and the bed spread. There was a hole in the bathroom door that looked like someone punched it. And it was very noisy.

I mean given the state of the rest if the city and the price, it was pretty accurate. We had a couple towels that had stains on them and the toilet was wobbly. Overall, the room was clean and secure. We did not experience any other kinds of issues. Check in/out was a breeze. It's one of those you get what you pay for and while it was amazing, it served it's purpose.

The damn train passing by every 45 minutes all night long made for the worst sleep at ANY MOTEL EVER! Antiquated plumbing was horrible. No provision for coffee, no hairdryer... Would recommend AVOIDING THIS 1952 throwback completely

This is a working mans motel.. if you are looking for luxury accommodations, this isnt it, but.. if you are looking for an inexpensive place to spend the night. This is OK ( I couldnt find anything cheeper) Nothing there was brand new. But it all worked ok. I was there on a weekend and there were guys grilling food in the parking lot.. When I was away from home and working on the road. I'd have fit right in..

The room stunk so bad. It smelled like mold/mildew. Then there was no cold water in the sink. There was ony 1 towel, and 1 wash cloth. The pillows were flat and the mattress was very had and uncomfortable. Plus the walls are so thin that you could hear everything that anyone was saying. Also my husband and I didn't hardly get any sleep due to the other guest screaming and cussing about stuff i didnt care to hear. They were so loud. Definitely not calm and relaxing. Will never go back there and stay ever. It was horrible only 1 towel, 1 wash cloth, and
