We were delighted to find we were staying in a stately home worthy of Downton Abbey. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Wonderful spaces for the guest with fireplaces and comfortable chairs in beautifully coordinated fabrics, as you'd expect from the previous home of Laura Ashleys family, (although subtley not massively floral). The restaurent was lovely and the food superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and views over the Brecon Beacons was lovely, with lots of pubs nearby, and other restaurents in nearby Brecon. Our room had a confortable 4 poster bed and lovely ensuite with a seperate shower and Bath, and a great view. It was one floor up and the stairs were wide and not steep so I managed with my stick. We were able to park right out the front door in the big turning circle. Overall it could not have been better!

A truly lovely hotel. The room was superb, comfortable, warm and a fabulous bed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and a great choice at breakfast. All the staff were so professional and super friendly. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay here again.

Plenty of parking, a stunning place and location. The food was fantastic and all the staff were brilliant and incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful historic property with lovely grounds to enjoy. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made it a relaxing experience. The room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of quality food. I was disappointed by dinner. The waitress gave us some incorrect information about nibbles (the peppers were not padron), the bottled water was overpriced and the food was good but not special. Overall I’d still recommend as an enjoyable experience.

Lovely country house in a great location, we enjoyed our stay enormously. There are lots of nice country hotels in the uk but what nave Llangoed Hall special were the helpful and friendly staff.
