Don't believe the facilities advertised
Paid for a premier room with ocean view & balcony. Room had neither, asked for the room we paid for to be told our room was given to someone else the previous day. Told we could change room the next day, then told they didn't have another room to offer us. They tried to offer a much smaller room & claimed that was what we paid for & they had upgraded us on arrival. This was challenged, the only resolve they could offer was free breakfast.
Breakfast was buffet for the first 3 days, it was very oriental. It was ok, we found things to eat. Day 4 the breakfast changed to a set menu with no warning.
The hotel advertised beds and parasols on the beach, these did not exist.
The hotel advertised 5 restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. 3 of them didn't exist & the other 2 were permanently closed. Nearest restaurant was a 20 minute walk.
Advertised as a no smoking hotel, there were ashtrays by the lifts, someone was smoking at breakfast. When staff were made aware, they did nothing.
The hotel advertised several places to get food on site, bar, cafe, deli, coffee shop. There was one restaurant and one small snack bar with a very limited menu.
There was music until 6am one night, 2am the next night & 3am the next night. We discovered that the hotel had a night club on the premises. The hotel advertised soundproofed rooms, this was definitely not the case.
Hotels.com & the hotel have refused a refund for their false advertising and this information is still on the website.
