It's a little bit tired to be honest. The room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. But, the towel rail did not work and the heating system was a bit iffy, so getting the right temperature was a bit of a trial; and the first day was pretty chilly.
The bathroom was odd as it was designed like a wet room, but the water did not like to drain into the shower area, so feet got wet every time I went into the bathroom - the water just laying there. I think what they have done is to try and modernise an old room, but it's just not worked that well.
You are a bit out of the main town, so be aware of the location. It might suit if you are not going to explore the town on foot.
