I would like to first say thank you to Cameron. Christian, Dorothy, and Julio for being wonderful hosts during my brief stay.
Each of them at different times went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
The Victorian Hotel is a wonderful older house with classic charm. Aside from the charm, it had plentiful hot water, my room had a great big bathtub tha was great to soak in, and each room has air conditioning.
Soap, hair dryer, everything good expect to find, you will..
It's in a perfect spot on Paseo Colon which is a heavy traffic, main boulevard but you'll hear little city noise.
The free breakfast is huge and tasty and would run you close to twenty US dollars at Sopa Tapia.
The people and the place represent the spirit of San José very well.
Again, my thanks.
