Beautiful new hotel and grounds..Everything was wonderful other than the food which was average considering the price. Breakfast was really good but with 28 % automatically added to the bill it was $58

I’m currently on my flight back home from my trip and honestly was very sad to leave today. I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Cap Cana- stayed from 1/19-1/23/26. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff is truly wonderful - they are truly courteous and attentive. I know some reviews mentioned the lack of hot water in the shower but that issue seems to be fixed - there was plenty of hot water and the water pressure is great. I would say the only thing I think they would could improve on is more food options/restaurants. I especially loved Nina and Marola and was disappointed with dinner at Cassava. I had lunch by the pool everyday and they were great but again, more food options would be a good idea. I loved the St. Regis Bar - it’s more than drinks, they have such attention to detail and the drinks are so inventive and delicious. Overall it was a very relaxing trip and I would absolutely return.

As Marriott brand loyalists we were severely disappointed in our recent stay at St.Regis Cap Cana. As a family we travel to multiple luxury hotels under this brand such as Ritz Carlton, St.Regis and JW Marriott per year so we are very familiar with the brand. I became alarmed prior to arrival given the lack of response or delayed response from the concierge via email. Upon check it this became even more concerning…. No warm welcome, no welcome drink etc, Through our stay the lack of service only grew. Out first dinner on property we were told our table wasn’t ready when the restaurant was almost empty then when seated I alerted them of a gluten allergy and they asked what gluten was, then when I explained the server asked what wheat was. The breakfast food was always cold and lacking variety. Had we not prepaid it we would not have returned. We quickly shifted the remained of our lunch and dinner reservations off property at Eden Roc which was more up to par. We had a butler with our room type. This wasn’t like any butler we had had at other properties. We had to ask multiple times for simple requests like towels and ice. The customer service is just severely lacking at this resort. We have never encountered this before especially a St.Regis. It truly felt like we were a bother to the staff other than the St.Regis bar staff that went above and beyond. This is such a shame given it’s such a beautiful property. I feel like I let my family down with selecting this property.

Brand new hotel with a lot of potential, the hotel is the most beautiful I’ve seen in Dominican, the staff really give the extra mile to take good care of you. Is new and there are some things that are still missing: no pizza in any of the restaurants, staff is still a little bit fresh and learning how to navigate around but thise things are going to improve with time.
Loved that they bring you a cooler with water when in the pool or beach, also during the afternoon they bring non alcoholic drinks and

Beautiful property and layout. Brand new hotel, Hardly any other guest. Wished we were placed in a better room - It was overlooking a partial parking lot for golfers, we did have ocean view & it was beautiful. Pools and staff excellent. Prices are outrageous at the restaurants & food was not good. $10 for a coconut water then fruit plate & tax & tip equals $67. I asked for papaya, I was charged for a full fruit plate. Breakfast is $50/person. No Uber eats allowed. Go to Jumbo, you can get fruits etc to take back. Dinner first night for 3 was $212. John, Aissette & Junior were amazing! Friendly, courteous and extremely helpful to us. Made our stay welcoming and worth it! Book excursions- it’s worth it. Unfortunately there’s a seaweed issue on beach but the clean it every morning.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in (and I've stayed at many hotels). Obviously this is a brand new hotel and you can tell. Everything is sparkling new. Everything has been so well thought out. The attention to detail is just insane. Check in was a little slow but we were offered beautiful drinks and a cool towel which was a nice touch. The staff were so kind and sweet with my 2 year old boy - playing with him and giving him attention. The room was stunning (we were upgraded). The views - breathtaking. Then our butler arrived. They offered us coffees throughout and waters. Butler service was good but can be improved and refined. A few times we waited longer than needed for our drinks. I'm sure with time, they will improve this service that they offer. Hotel facilities are divine. Dining is pricey but amazing. Be prepared to spend a lot of money to eat at this hotel (if you come to PC you know eating out is expensive anyway!). The spa treatment was very expensive but worth every penny. I would have used the spa for longer. Their relaxation area is amazing and the nibbles they provided were gorgeous. One of the best treatments I've ever had. For $195 I would expect nothing less! I would 100% return - if they don't raise their prices too much (which they most likely will and so they should!) Check out was also too slow.
They are still working on their processes but apart from that I highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, terrible service. The F&B team and overall service standards were shockingly poor and completely undermined what should have been a great stay. We’d seen other reviews mentioning the same issues and regret ignoring them. Nearly a year on, the hotel still isn’t up to St. Regis standards. Not worth the premium price.

Completely lacking gluten free options for people with celiac. It was very important for us and we specifically chose St. Regis hoping they would be able to accommodate. Unfortunately, for a hotel chain this big and upscale it is very disappointing.
