A good location, but a very tired hotel with trailing extension leads to power air con and other appliances. An all but useless shower.

There was no hot water during our entire stay. No room service to collect rubbish. We had to ask the reception for toilet paper and soap during our stay. Location is great.

8/10 Muy buena

There is no coffee maker, hair drier, liquid soap or tissue box. If you ask the receptionist, she will give you a kettle and hair drier. The breakfast can be served at the bar on the first floor starting at 8:00 am. Parking is limited, but available if you let them know. The property is very clean and the AC works quietly to the desired temp.

A bit of hotel nostalgia

The hotel is austere and old fashioned, but it's in a great spot.

not bad, convenient located, close to everything. Breakfast will be nice

Great location. Air conditioning worked. Almost everything was fine and met expectations. Open showers are a bad idea because there's a lot of water splashing on the bathroom floor when you shower. The personnel was pleasant and the room was kept clean.

My daughter and I felt safe here. The beds didn't look all that comfortable, but they were. We slept so well. I loved the character of the hotel. All the people who worked at the hotel that we came in contact with, were really nice and friendly.

Breakfast was terribly organized. On Friday they started at 8 am. On Saturday it was 9 am. Most guests get up early to start their day or go to the next destination. Then I found out I had to pay extra because I wanted black tea caffeinated. Very disappointed.

Excellent location in a very walkable area. Plenty of shopping and dining everywhere. Public transportation on retro streetcars nearby. The hotel staff is very nice and the room is cleaned every day. There is dining downstairs. This hotel is an excellent choice and very affordable.

Old but enjoyable

This is a C19 hotel which has seen limited updates in recent decades. The quirks of creaky floorboards and erratic air conditioning should not put you off staying in this splendid location.

% There was a lot of noise from the hallway, the other rooms and the elevator. + Everything else was fine. Friendly staff, clean room, good location and modern furniture

What a cluster f@ck

When arrived the non-english speaker of the reception told us that he could not find our reservations for 5 nights and 2 rooms and they were fully booked. He literally told us we would be homeless in Romania and didn't care. Hotels.com also ignored our pleas and we ended up having to cancel our trip.

Die Duschkabine aus Zimmer 313 war nicht vorhanden und das gesamte Badezimmer wurde nach dem Duschen nass. Der Einbau der Klimaanlage, defekt.

Don't

3rd floor, but still an evil smell from the sink. Room service only sporatically executed. Rooms look overall very aged, with rust and dirty spots on the walls. Staff speaks little English, does not have any information brochures or recommendations for exploring the city. The location is great, the building has a certain charme of old times, and there are some parking spots in front. But it is also not very quiet. You hear the tram passing very clearly.
