I’m currently staying at The Albert Hotel, and for the price you pay, the luxury service is absolutely nonexistent. When my husband and I arrived, we struggled with our bags at check-in and not one person offered to help—not at the front desk, not at the valet. They stuck us in a basement room, and the walls are so paper thin that I was woken up multiple times.
The rooms are also incredibly dark—so dark you can barely function in them. One of our lamp lights even went out during our stay, and I didn’t bother calling because when we called earlier about our safe not working, they said they’d send someone up and never did.
At the spa, my massage therapist made me wait 15 minutes past my appointment time, and my massage still ended at the 50-minute mark I paid for—so I effectively received a shorter service.
For the price point, this hotel completely misses the mark on service and experience. I would not stay here again.
