Quiet and clean hotel. Fabulous staff. Close by to many types of public transit. Close to the vibrant downtown.
Been staying here for years, will always choose this hotel.

Relatively clean and quiet as far as overpriced hotels go. Staff was friendly. The negatives were that I had no TV remote and the water never actually got warm enough to shower comfortably. Plus there were no washclothes, only two very old towels. If you're charging $150 for an $85 hotel, at least have good towels and hot water.

Location was great! Walking distance to great coffee (The Hub) restaurants and cool streets.
The size of the room was great, and I got a reasonable rate especially for Junos weekend.
The electronic keypad was a nice feature, but feels a little unsecure as the buttons showed the most commonly typed number. The mattress was a littke old but more distressing was the age of the sheets, they hit that need to replace stage.
It is an older building but the room had nice new floors and a semi recent paint job. Considering what I paid I'm not pissed off, but they really should invest in new sheets.

Do not stay at this hotel until the renovations are done - we had no shower. No towels asked 3 times. No tv remote, door was not very secure. No one at the front desk. Once you left hotel you couldn’t get back in without clerk there who didn’t answer the number to call. I couldn’t even checkout as no one was around.
Also from security perspective the area is not the greatest and the lights in the parking lot were not working. the hotel was clean.
The staff were friendly but for $200 a night this hotel this was hotel something I would never pay more than $80 for a room like this ever.
I would take this off the offering at hotel.com until they finish renovations. This is a 1-star hotel at best

The establishment was filthy; only one small towel for 2 people; paint peeling off the walls; no glasses, no cups, no coffee for the coffee machine; poor hospitality; bad odours.....this establishment looks nothing like the pictures published on the web...a real dive...an overall disastrous experience....we left within an hour of arriving and had to find other accomodations on our own at the last minute.....I can't believe hotels.com allows this establishment to use their website to attract potential customers (victims).

I didn't realise just how rough the place was. The lobby smelled like hash. Pubic hair on the dryer, the door lock didnt really work, the safety backup bar was loose. Weird stains in the bed. I gave up and found another place. I didn't want scabies or to wake up in the tub without my kidneys. The guy at the counter was pleasant and seemed understanding when I told him I was leaving. 250 bucks gone and headache at the end of long day for nothing.

his hotel is a dump. The lobby looks sketchy, there is no one at the front desk at night or even early morning. Therefore, you have to call a phone number and hope they answer and buzz you in. My room was dirty; curtains were stained, sheets had holes, there is no reading lamp next to the bed (just a hole in thr wall where the electrical connections were at some point). There is one very small towel in the bathroom. I asked for more towels and nothing happened for hours. Then I went to the front desk, asked for more towel and was given, reluctantly, one more very small towel. There was no shampoo or conditioner, no coffee, and not even plastic cups to drink water. Also, the sign outside says "Free deluxe continental breakfast". Is that a joke? There is no breakfast, or even coffee, at all.
