Amazing rooms with private balcony and prime sunset view every evening! There was a big pool as well, and location is fantastic in Firostefani. 15 min walk to Fira. Staff are excellent. I will look at staying here for my next visit!

We had stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and loved it so much, we booked it again when we returned to Santorini. The view and pool are great. It’s close enough to Fira to walk there, but nice and quiet at night. This is a family owned business and mother/father/daughter are all very nice. It’s easy enough to book a transfer through the hotel for the additional fee. The hotel itself isn’t fancy, but you can’t beat it for the price. The morning breakfast is also lovely.

I would say decent amenities and room only thing missing is toiletries like shampoo and conditioner … view is amazing… really liked they provided transportation anywhere at a fair price… however no one would help me drag my luggage up all the stairs in the morning to leave which I ended up hurting myself and only had an overnight bag and carryon so if you’re traveling with big luggage I def would not even attempt it. Other than that I’d say a good 4 star hotel maybe 3 1/2

We were surprised at the time of checkin with additional “National Tax”. In all our travels, taxes local or national are known ahead of time. If sometime needs to be paid onsite in addition to what hotels.com charges that is known before finalizing the booking. Checking in at night, in a new country with no where else to go left no choice but to pay it, but is bad business practice. Contacted hotels.com and they said there shouldn’t be additional tax charge but was not resolved as of this post which is 3 days since we checked out. PS; the actual tax was mentioned but hotels.com wouldn’t post the review if there is mention of specific amounts or rates.

Title: Excessive Tourist Tax and Lack of Transparency During our stay at Kafieris Blue, we were charged a tourist tax of €10 per night, totaling €20 for our two-night stay. However, according to the information provided on Hotels.com, the applicable tourist tax for this property should be €2 per night, or just €4 for our entire stay. We therefore have serious concerns that we may have been overcharged. We believe the property management should clarify this discrepancy by providing the property's official classification and confirming the legally applicable tourist tax rate. If the amount charged was incorrect, we believe a refund of €16 would be appropriate. This situation raises concerns about billing transparency and has unfortunately left us with a negative impression of our experience at Kafieris Blue.

No staff to port your luggage, the electricity goes on & off some times.. so may be no coffee in the mornings, cant use hair dryer//straighteners. The property charges €10 per person upon check in, that’s not mentioned in hotels.com’s prices so be aware when booking. Apart from this stunning views of Caldera! If all of the above is acceptable then this is truly amazing Property to stay.

An absolutely beautiful view and the perfect location. The pool and dining area were unique and provided the opportunity to take in Santorini’s view. A word of caution though. Don’t show up with a heavy bag. While being lower on the mountain, the walk back up is anywhere between 70-100 stairs (depending on which route you take)

Pros: the view is very nice, directly on the coastline. The young girl at the reception was very helpful and friendly Cons: The older lady that checked us in was very scammy. I booked the biggest room with 3 full beds and when I tried to confirm if it’s the right room, she quickly brushed me off and said the room she gave me is very nice. Turned out she gave me the smallest room for 4 people. I went back to the reception to complain but then no one was there. Waited another 15 mins for someone to show up. It was not a good way to start a vacation. They told me there was an error in the booking(more like they gave away our room) and offered us free breakfast. We had breakfast and my daughter had really bad diarrhea right after so she refused to eat breakfast the rest of the stay. I read the reviews and couple people also mentioned they got the wrong room. Mind you I paid extra for the bigger room.

Clearly one of our favorite stays. A very nice couple and their staff will take care of your every need from, pick up, transport, breakfast. The rooms are nice and spacious. The outside pool and patio is a game changer especially with the Santorini sun. I highly recommended and would definitely come back.

The property is in a great location. However, first, we were given a wrong room. And the room was super hot. They did not turn on the ac as preparation. They switched us to another room that doesn’t look like the advertised picture. The two double beds are attached to each other instead of separate. there is zero amenities inside the room. No shampoo or conditioner or soap or lotion. There is a generic blue bottle (no label) by the shower and we were told that’s the shampoo/conditioner/soap. There is a step in the middle of the room. If you are not careful, you will trip 99% of the time. I would not recommend this place especially with with little kids

This is a fantastic hotel with wonderful caldera views. The staff is great. The pool was amazing. Just know there are a lot of stairs but the view is worth it. Absolutely perfect week spent. Marvelous sunset views. We did not want to leave.
