While maybe not plush, the rooms are clean, staff friendly and helpful and the place well maintained. I stay here for a week or so every couple of months or so. It's a good value that is convenient to stores.

Our overnight stay at High Springs Country Inn was a very pleasant change of pace from your typical chain accommodations. The staff were welcomjng and made sure we had everything we needed. The property had ample parking and is well maintained from the rooms to the grounds with a rustic kind of charm. The Inn is a great choice if you're visiting the area for diving or other springs related activities and you need a clean, local place to spend the night. It should be noted that while there is an ice machine and a vending machine for soft drinks, and a single cup coffee maker and dorm style refrigerator in the room, you'll want to be prepared to find food and coffee somewhere in town with many fine options a short walking distance from the Inn.

I booked for double beds and I didn't get that room. I had room 103 with 1 bed, very small and a bathroom that was falling apart. It's very old motel. I was not happy about it.

Room clean. Beds very comfortable.I was allergic to something in the room so we had to check out early. When I explained to the office person, he immediately offered a refund for the night we weren’t able to use. We did receive our refund.

The room looked exactly as shown in the image, it was very clean. The everyone I interacted with on the staff was wonderful! If staying in High Springs Florida, diving the Springs or for any other reason, I highly recommend this Inn.

Was very clean but needs updating. The beds were very hard spring beds that were past their prime. It was fine for what we needed it for which was just a place to sleep while visiting family.

"Country Inn" for sure.

The facility met all expectations as a basic, older, roadside motel in a small, rural town, run by a family who lives next to property. It was clean, but furniture and interior spaces are dated and worn. It served the purpose of an overnight stay prior to a kayak trip the next day. Staff was friendly, ice machine worked, water was hot NOT fancy, but served the purpose, given the reasonable price point.

On the outside, this place looks like a 1950's-era roadside motel, so our room (116) was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and looked like it had been remodelled recently - new floors etc. The AC is a basic unit on the wall but that's what you'd expect. It worked great to mitigate the July Florida heat. The room itself was quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was a mini-fridge with a small working freezer, and a microwave, There was a decent rack for hanging clothes. Parking was good. I would have two suggestions for improvement. One would be to add some shelving or furniture where people can put their stuff. This place caters to cave divers and I imagine they share rooms. With all their gear, I bet they'd appreciate more places to get things off the floor. My other suggestion would be to use some of the extra floor space to enlarge and upgrade the bathroom. It's quite small. The sink is a tiny wall hanger with barely space under the faucet to wash your hands, and no counter space to keep toiletries. The shower worked but it was difficult to control the temperature. One note - we had three people and there was only one set of a bath towel, washcloth, and hand towel. I had to go ask at the desk for two more sets, but the clerk was very nice about getting me more when I asked. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone travelling the area on a budget. We used it because of its convenient location relative to Itchetucknee State Park.
