This property is a little odd, as half of it is a Loft hotel and half the Home2 Suites, which attracts a different customer base. There is a lot of traffic noise in the room due to proximity to the freeway. Breakfast on the second day (MLK holiday) was very bad. Pancake machine was broken. No waffle batter. No potatoes or scrambled eggs. No coffee. This was at 8:30 am. Deficiencies pointed out to staff. 15 minutes later more potatoes were dumped into the tray, and they were cold. I had to make do with one of yesterday’s scones and a banana. Left after 20 minutes, still no eggs. Also on check in we witnessed an altercation in the lobby (and threats to call the police) between the front desk staff and a person who did not belong at the hotel and was apparently just hanging out in the lobby. This situation did not feel safe to us. Room was clean. Kitchen area of Home2 Suites room was clean and fully stocked with plates etc.
