My wife had always wanted to visit the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and we linked this into our trip to Rome for a six Nations Rugby Match. I found this hotel on the website and was impressed by the reviews it had received. I'm glad to say they all proved to be accurate as this was a great hotel to stay at. The first stand out was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Check in was painless and efficient and we were given a small map of the town showing some of the better restaurants to visit along with the closest entrance to the Park. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, as was the rest of the hotel. The next morning after a good breakfast we were offered and accepted a lift to the park by one of the staff who also pointed out some of the other attractions modern Pompeii had to offer. Really happy to recommend this hotel to you.

Hotel Maiuri was a gem in Pompeii! beautiful clean rooms; nice professional staff and a lovely breakfast included. We were able to walk to it from the train station. We walked to a restaurant and had a lovely evening. The ruins were a bit of a hike but our group likes to walk. I would return to Hotel Maiuri without hesitation!

The hotel has private parking which is quite good for those traveling in rental cars. The room is standard simple and clean. Bathroom is alright, the cubicle doors are a little fiddly but got perfect water pressure. The staff is amazing, friendly and tentative, provided suggestions for dining. Room was nice. The street in front of the hotel and the surrounding area is a bit random, but somehow it's only a 20 min walk from the centre and from one of the entrances of the Pompeii archaeological site. Staff were excellent, offered some good advice on how to best experience the site and the town. Breakfast was ok. Free parking is handy. Overall a solid option for a 1 or 2 night stay if you are visiting the Pompeii sites.

We stayed 3 nights in 2 rooms with our big “kids”. Hotel M has very Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Parking is safe and convenient. Super friendly owner and staff! The owner goes out of his way to help us get CNG Metano for our car rental! He and the staff also help us find everything — laundry, making our itineraries more efficient, good restaurant… etc . The restaurant across the hotel is superb! 5.0 on trip advisor, and the hotel owns it too. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful!
