This was an excellent hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which is rare in Spain. I loved how the hotel was new and spacious. There is a restaurant nearby with classy decor called La Bodeguilla. You can walk from the hotel to the old Jewish quarter tourist area which is helpful. The hotel will call a taxi for you if you need it, though it's hard to find one to take back, but you can just walk. I wouldn't walk at night though by myself, because some areas just outside the tourist area aren't that nice. It's nice to be staying further away from the busy narrow streets of the tourist area though. Many local people dress up to go eat at the restaurants in the plaza in front of the hotel. I thought because the hotel is by a train station, it might be sketchy, but it's a nice area. And you can walk two minutes to catch your train back to Seville!

Outstanding staff and rooms. The measure of a hotel’s what they do when something goes wrong. We had a problem in the guest night. The staff promptly looked into it and moved us to another room. The rooms are ver spacious, clean and with separate bathroom including two sinks. Breakfast had a wide range of choices. Restaurant staff friendly, helpful and food good. The Roman ruins in the basement was a hidden archeological treat and worth a visit in of themselves. Highly recommend this hotel. One of the best I have ever stayed in.
