The floors in the room were dirty sticky, The outside walk up was dirty it smelled like dog.The 2 pools were nice one out and one in. In all it was not bad. Just need to clean better.

They guest relation dest was super friendly. They rooms were clean and the staff were awesome. If something was not working they took care of it immediately. We’ll definitely have to stay there again when we’re in town.

Family Stay

When we booked a SureStay studio room that would guarantee a mini kitchenette, we didn’t realize it’d be part of the main Best Western hotel on the property but its own totally separate building. We were limited in our driving so while not terribly far from the main lobby, it was an issue for food delivery. The drivers couldn’t tell the difference and kept going to the lobby so we had to walk back and forth to meet them. We wished we stayed in the actual hotel at that point vs the separate studios. The studio building also did not have an elevator, which we did not realize. With an infant, we could not use his stroller so had to make several trips to the second floor. The room was spacious and had a kitchenette for us to wash bottles. However, during our stay, we had a couple of flies or gnats that kept appearing by the bathroom. The room was relatively clean otherwise. The beds were a little soft for our liking and kept shifting off the boxspring but were otherwise clean. We would stay again but this time, would stay in the main hotel.

The room was very dirty with poor sound insulation. In 2023 we stayed at the same location but stayed in the Best Western hotel which was much better. I don’t recommend this property, though the Best Western hotel itself is okay. Love Lancaster and the location of this property is good. Next time will stay in a different hotel.

Staff was nice, great deluxe continental breakfast daily, room was cleaned daily. Just understand you are booking with SureStay by Best Western Plus… Best Western Plus and SureStay are combined as far as amenities but SureStay is the older (but renovated) part and you have to walk to the main building for the store, laundry, breakfast, and inside pool. There isn’t an elevator on the SureStay side either. But if you call or go to the front desk of the main Building Best Western Plus they immediately provide what you need.
Loved sitting outside daily. Kids enjoyed the connect 4 and cornhole that’s provided.

It was listed as a Lancaster hotel, which is true only in an extended sense. I was a half hour drive to Lancaster. I suppose this is partly my fault for not checking more closely where "Paradise" is. The breakfast was good, people working there were pleasant and courteous. The biggest problem was that we felt deceived. The property pictures make it look like hotel, when in reality half the rooms (including ours) are in a separate building, which is a converted motel. The room itself was clean and looked relatively redone, but it was clearly a 1950's motel conversion: the room was narrow and hard to get around in, with the sink outside the bathroom. The outside hallways were fairly dirty, looking like a 1950's motel. If we'd known we'd be getting a converted motel in a separate building, we'd never have stayed here.

Not friendly

This was our second time at this hotel. The reception isn't friendly, but it's very formal. I need to work, but the internet in my building was terrible. The breakfast is the highlight. Very tasty and complete. I wouldn't stay here again. There are better and cheaper options in the area.

I was very surprised by this hotel bc it wasn’t expensive at all. First….the small refrigerator (not tiny box sized one) and even range top stove, in the room was a wonderful addition. Our room was no frills BUT that’s what I wanted. No carpet, nothing super fancy but very clean and you can’t beat the price. They even had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathtub/shower area. The breakfast.. amazing! That says a lot coming from someone who can’t eat gluten. The staff was so courteous and helpful too. The outdoor pool was closed for the season but the indoor one was open. There is also a hot tub there to use as well. I highly recommend staying here and plan to do so myself.
