The Reception staff were fair, You cannot check in until the allocated time, even if the room is ready. We had to ask a few times to have two tea cups placed in our room rather than just one but they sorted it on the last day. The breakfast is good. We paid for a superior room which had a lovely big balcony. There is a dressing table and stool, the hairdryer is located in the bathroom but there is no mirror in the dressing table area so you have to stand in the hallway to use the hairdryer, it's a small but annoying detail, why put a dressing table and chair but no mirror!
The pool was great to use in the afternoons after a morning of sightseeing. There are around 10 sunbeds, otherwise you can just use chairs. There is a bar service with a very helpful member of staff but no service on a Sunday at all, which I did not realise. Don't expect the clean towels to all arrive at once, they eventually bring the clean towels in when they arrive at the hotel.
