The flat itself has a great outdoor space with table, and is in a great location (even if on a steep hill - good luck finding anywhere in Camogli that isn't!). A few things disappointed me on the stay however that impacted my thoughts on the flat - firstly, the bed is hard. I mean absolutely "bruising to the body" hard. I've slept on all manner of beds over travelling, but this was the worst - only by night 4 had I worked out a pillows + extra duvet + quilt under the sheet combination that allowed sleep. For a place that charges to a semi-premium level, this was unacceptably bad. Next as a lesser issue, when hiring a flat/kitchen based accommodation, you'd rightly expect to have some staples in the cupboards like salt/pepper - it's touches like this that are so easy for a host to do, but make a big difference to the guest.
