We stayed for 3 nights. On the first day, the room they gave us was honestly unacceptable. The smell in the room was terrible at first we thought it was just because the room had no ventilation, but later we noticed mold on the wall. The smell was so bad that we had to sleep with the window open all night, even though Batumi was very cold that day.
When we showed them the mold, they claimed they were not aware of it. That was probably the part that upset me the most. It is impossible not to notice such a strong smell, and it felt like they were trying to treat us like fools. The odor was so intense that my clothes still smell like mold.
We eventually managed to change rooms, but we were still not satisfied with the cleanliness of the other rooms either. The shower curtain literally fell on my head while I was taking a shower. There was no safe for personal belongings and no mini fridge in the room.
There was also no receptionist available in person all communication was done through WhatsApp, which created a feeling of insecurity.
Overall, it was a very bad experience.
