My stay was peaceful and relaxing! The Bridge Inn is the perfect spot to book after flying in to Edinburgh. Just a short skip from the airport, welcoming staff, delicious restaurant and extremely comfortable room/bed! I slept like a baby and enjoyed everything about this quaint little spot after a long day of travel. Wonderful!

Very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant. Great place to stay before departure from Edinburgh airport. Cute village with the airport 10 minutes away. We had two rooms. The temperature in one was pleasant, in the other it was way too warm.

Lovely, good sized room, tastefully decorated. Staff very helpful. Atmosphere sounded great with live music. Great view of the Union Canal and quiet during the night. Bed a bit creaky but comfortable enough. One downside Black hairs/bristles on the toilet seat and bed, possibly from a dust pan brush? Overall a nice night's stay for work. Would stay again. Lovely area.

Bridge Inn is lovely. Maybe I was just unlucky with my room - terrible night's sleep with road noise and rattling sash windows from the wind.

The room was spotless and quiet, the ambiance of the whole inn is outright great, and the food amazing. It's just a short drive by Uber from EDI airport and compared to any airport hotel I would recommend everyone to just hop on the taxi and come here.

Check-in and dinner was fine but I got NO sleep ahead of a really busy day the next day. There was no-one available to help at night - I messaged via hotels.com around 10pm which was ignored, as was my call. I considered sleeping in my car but there was an alarm system they set up and I didn't want to risk getting locked outside. The room, and I was later informed by management, all rooms, are right next to a red light on the main road through the town. Windows are old single-glazed sash-style. I was unable to sleep as the traffic noise comes straight into the room - you are trying to sleep next to a busy road and ALL the noise. It's a tiny room and a horrendous nights sleep. In the morning staff told me I would get a full or partial refund and that they would get management to call me. They never did. Over a week later I finally called & spoke to management. They said they were ill and had to carry out an investigation, as the reason I hadn't heard back. They said they can't do anything about the noise, however one or all of the below are solutions: 1. Inform visitors about this before booking 2. Replace the windows or install better curtains or shutters to block noise 3. Provide earplugs for guests Management informed me that all rooms are next to the road and that no-one has ever complained about the noise (which is a lie - I've subsequently seen reviews about this). They also lied about processing a partial refund - still waiting over a month now. Do not stay here.

First night staying here. We visited a few years ago for drinks & lunch in the summer. Staff are excellent so friendly. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant then we had a lovely walk over the bridge to the beautiful canal. We will definitely return.

We stayed at this property on our last night because of its location-really close to the EDI airport. It was so charming. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.
