Everything was pretty good except for the pool being kind of small and the kids being very rowdy. I wish we would have known kind of what weekend to go there or that there was a limit on who could go to the pool when. We would have planned it on a different weekend where we had the pool, more free.If we would have known there was gonna be everybody in their grandma puppy dog there.

Exceptional service. Beautiful hotel.

I realize this is a brand new hotel, so everything was new and clean, but it was the attitude of the staff that made our staff wonderful. We come to see family in Grimes quite often so we will be staying at this hotel again.

During my check in the staff was having problems getting my room ready. I did check in early (2:30 pm) but she first gave me my key, soon after said the room wasn’t clean. She kept trying to get ahold of housekeeping, who left while I was checking in. I was told my room would not be cleaned. What the heck!!! The staff finally found me another room but couldn’t get a card for my door to work. I and an appointment ti get to, so she opened my door with her key to allow me to put my luggage in the room. I have always been very satisfied with this hotel and everyone has always been helpful, however, if the hotel had been full with no extra room available, where would I end up? I can’t believe the housekeeping staff just left for the day without having all reserved rooms available. Another problem I had to have my card reset twice because it stopped working ( I was only there 2 nights)

Very noisey PTAC unit for the small size of the room kept me up for 2 nights, won't be staying in this Hilton which is a shame 10 minutes from my daughters. Hiltons are usually my first choice had a better stay 2 weeks ago In Arizona at the Hilton.

We had an excellent stay here! We got to enjoy the pool for a little bit and even though it is smaller, it is perfect for relaxing. The room was perfect for us and breakfast was excellent. We loved the lobby, the kids got to play tons of games while we got to hang out with friends. The complementary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and flavored water was wonderful for the kids as well. There are also plenty of snacks and other drinks that you can purchase as well that are not just your regular vending machine snacks. The staff was very friendly and stayed on top if everything. We will absolutely be back for another stay!

Slow check in. We were the only ones checking in and I’m not sure if it was a system issue or staff issue but took 20mins to get into our rooms. They staff through out our staff weren’t very friendly.

Was staying there for a HS football game. Grandson got in trouble, ineligible to play. Tried to cancel room 2 days prior to game. No response from hotel to Expedia in 24 hrs. Expedia had a representative ask hotel for a refund. Tru said no. Will be staying elsewhere when we go for other sports events in Johnston in the future.

The staff were all great. Everything was clean. We stayed for 5 nights. There was no room for our suitcases and no dresser. I think there were six hangers and a bench we could put stuff under and several hooks on the wall. No coffee pot or microwave. Bed and bedding were nice but pillows were not. The heating and cooling system was very annoying. The air was blowing almost all the time even when we turned it to off. The bathroom light had a sensor light so if you didn’t turn the other light on it would go off when you were in the shower. I guess it is a minimalist motel. Maybe I missed that in the advertising. Again, the staff were great. It was not convenient for multiple people for multiple nights in our opinion.
